Religion has seen the light, metaphorically obvs. What I mean is that they’re reinterpreting their dark and deconstructed aesthetic for a warmer SS14 menswear collection. Print still plays a huge role, as the collection creates a hybrid of modern tailoring and sportswear influences as zippers and nylon fabrications break up the jersey and leather that Religion is known for. The monochrome colour palette can be seen across tie-dye prints on t-shirts, and jackets have been given distressed leather panels, a new take on a classic perfecto leather biker jacket. Relaxed modern tailoring is key as nylon blazers are given a facelift with bomber jacket style front zip inserts.
